Your data with Finz’art

On your device first

Everything you enter is saved in the app’s database, on your phone or in your browser. Without an account, your data leaves only in the cases described below: the photo of a scanned document, your voice if you dictate with “Speak”, and what you give the assistant if you have entered an access code.

The Finz’art account

Your account lets you find the same file on several devices and keep a copy if one of them disappears. It is deleted with all its data in one operation.

What leaves, and when

The photo of a scanned document leaves to be read, and what you entrust to the assistant leaves too: the dictated text with the name of your profession, your question, the facts of a reminder, the line to rephrase, the description of an expense, aggregated figures. When you correct a quote by voice, the quote on screen goes with the instruction: its lines with their amounts, its notes and the customer’s name. When you dictate with “Speak”, your phone transcribes your voice itself when it can, otherwise Apple’s or Google’s service does, or your browser’s. Expected words go with it so they are recognised better: in a browser, those of your profession, your catalogue and the names of your clients; on a phone, only a few, the names of your clients first. In discreet mode the names stay on the device. On a phone, with your account or an access code, the recording also goes to the Finz’art server in Switzerland, which transcribes it more precisely with Whisper and keeps nothing of it. Nothing goes to the assistant without your explicit consent, asked once before the first send and revocable in the settings. Outside discreet mode, the list of your clients’ names also goes to the assistant with every dictation, and a reminder draft sends the client’s name. Discreet mode holds back the names of your clients and suppliers, and only those; in the Care sector it is on from the start.

Encrypted, on your terms

The backup is encrypted with a password only you know. Exchanges with the server are encrypted. The app’s secrets go into the system keychain.

No advertising, no tracking

Neither in the app nor on this site. No audience measurement tools, no fonts loaded from elsewhere, no cookies.

Erase everything, in one move

In the settings, one button erases all business data from the device, with two confirmations. With an account, the deletion extends to the account and the other devices.
