Terms of use
Version of 12 October 2026
These terms govern the use of the Finz’art app, its browser version and the subscription. They are written to be read in full in a few minutes. This version applies from 1 December 2026, the day Finz’art becomes paid; until then the app is free during its launch phase.
1. Who Finz’art is for
Finz’art is a management app for freelancers and small businesses in Switzerland. It is reserved for professionals and is not intended for people under 16. By using it, you accept these terms.
2. What the app does, and what it does not
The app helps you produce quotes, QR-bills and reminders, track your expenses, your job sites and your VAT, and prepare a file for your accountant. It replaces neither an accountant nor legal or tax advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your documents, your returns and your payments. The app makes no transfers: it prepares orders that you approve in your e-banking.
3. Your account
The Finz’art account gives access to sync, the assistant and the subscription. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the actions taken from your account. You can sign out your other devices and delete the account at any time from the app. You can invite other people into your space, with a role and modules of your choice: they sign in with their own account, act in yours under your responsibility, and each accepted team member is billed with your subscription at the price given in point 4 bis. You revoke an access at any time, and your accountant’s access is free.
4. The free trial
A new account tries Finz’art free for 14 days, with no credit card: every feature is open, with 25 automatic document readings by the assistant. There is one trial per account. At the end of the trial nothing starts on its own and nothing is charged: if you do not subscribe, the account switches to read-only (point 4 ter). Accounts opened during the launch phase, before 1 December 2026, receive the subscription as a gift, with no time limit, for as long as the account exists.
4 bis. The subscription, its price and payment
The subscription is taken out only on app.finzart.ch, with your account: never in the iPhone or Android app, nor through Apple or Google. It costs CHF 39.90 a month or CHF 399 a year. Each accepted team member in your space costs an extra CHF 9.90 a month or CHF 99 a year, pro rata for the period; your accountant’s access is free. Prices include VAT where it is due. Payment is handled by Stripe, in advance for each period; the subscription renews itself at the end of each period until you cancel it. If a payment fails, Stripe tries again and access stays open for seven days after the due date. The price you pay when subscribing stays yours as long as your subscription runs without interruption. Prices of new subscriptions may change: those shown when subscribing apply.
4 ter. Cancellation and read-only
You cancel the subscription at any time on app.finzart.ch, for the end of the current period; no refund is due for a period already started. Without an active subscription, the account switches to read-only: your documents stay viewable and exportable, creating and editing stop, as do sync and the assistant. Your data is kept as long as your account exists, and a new subscription reopens everything at once. Keeping your accounting records for ten years (art. 958f CO) remains your responsibility: export your files before deleting your account.
5. Your data
Your data belongs to you. It stays on your device, and on the Finz’art server only with an account. Its processing is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
6. Your clients and patients: we process their data for you
The data you enter about your clients, patients and suppliers remains your responsibility: you are its controller, and Finz’art processes it on your behalf, as a processor within the meaning of art. 9 FADP. This point serves as the data processing agreement. We undertake to: process this data only to make the app work (storage, sync, backup, the assistant when you use it, filing for your accountant when you ask), and never for any other purpose, advertising included; keep it confidential and give access only to people who need it for the service and are bound to secrecy; protect it with the measures described in the privacy policy (hosting in Switzerland, encrypted transfers and backups, separated accounts); use only the providers named here, and inform you in the app before adding one; notify you without delay of a security breach affecting it; help you answer requests from the people concerned; erase it when you delete your account, backups included within thirty days. Providers: Infomaniak Network SA, in Switzerland, for the server, the backups and sending e-mails; Anthropic PBC, in the United States, for the assistant and reading documents through your account, only with your express consent; a9t9 software GmbH (ocr.space), in Germany, for reading documents on a phone, only with your express consent. Stripe receives only the data of your own subscription, never that of your clients. Speech recognition on your phone or browser is a matter for its provider, as the privacy policy describes.
7. Professional secrecy
If you are bound by professional secrecy, in healthcare in particular, Finz’art acts as your auxiliary within the meaning of art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code: we keep secret what you entrust to us, and the providers named in point 6 have access only as far as the service requires. You remain responsible for what you send to the assistant: in the Care sector, discreet mode is on from the start, and you choose what you dictate or write.
8. The assistant
The assistant sends nothing without your explicit consent, asked once before the first send and revocable in the settings. What it reads or writes is a suggestion to check before use. It relies on third-party services described in the privacy policy.
9. Availability and changes
The app evolves. We do what is needed to keep the server available and your data backed up, without guaranteeing uninterrupted availability. A feature may be changed or removed with a notice in the app.
10. Liability
Within the limits of Swiss law, our liability is limited to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. We are not liable for indirect losses, nor for the consequences of an incorrect document, return or payment.
11. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is the publisher’s registered office, subject to mandatory provisions.
11 bis. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. A change that affects you is announced at least 30 days before it takes effect, by e-mail or in the app; if you do not accept it, you can cancel your subscription before that date, at no cost.
